unbearable heat chaotic breakfast
the room was really too warm. even with the radiators off, the heat was unbearable. i asked if the temperature could be adjusted, but i was told it couldn't be done. this, i also had issues with service during breakfast. the system they used caused confusion and delays. orders were mixed up and there were only a couple of staff members available to assist. a simple paper system with table numbers would have made the service so much smoother.

the breakfast offered a huge variety. fresh fruit and full english options were available. the rooms were clean and warm. i also appreciated the gluten free options offered at the restaurant.

a romantic getaway to remember
grand buffet fresh juices attentive staff
the breakfast was heavenly, a grand buffet spread. juices were fresh and revitalizing. the location was perfect, a very short walk to the pier. the staff were attentive, nothing seemed too difficult.
i found that the hotel bar lacked a toilet brush, an oversight that felt a little inconvenient.

the hotel is located directly on the waterfront and offers easy access to the pier and shops. it takes just a few minutes to reach the train station. several bus stops can be found nearby.

staff members were always friendly and willing to assist with any request. the breakfast service was particularly attentive. the staff was polite . they provided prompt assistance.

quality produce excellent desserts tired hotel gas smell
The breakfast was great. I enjoyed the quality produce offered! One evening I had a meal, and the desserts were excellent. I would certainly recommend this place!
I noticed the hotel felt quite tired. The spa entrance was through a service lift. It then led to a service basement corridor that smelled of gas. I skipped it in the end.

limited parking expensive problem
the parking situation REALLY irked me. it was limited, and a daily and EXPENSIVE problem to solve. also, the room lacked air conditioning. it became unbearably hot, especially in july, and while i did get a fan from reception, it barely helped.

clean room breakfast service poor presentation plated dinner
the room was clean. the breakfast had good service with a nice outlook on the promenade. i could see the sea from the dining room.
the presentation of the dinner wasnt good. the roast beef dinner was plated with meat, potatoes, and vegetables all together. i expected the food to be served so i could serve myself.

Acceptable stay with SOME issues
dated decor poor equipment
The breakfast offered a beautiful spread EVERY morning.
The gym was REALLY disappointing. The equipment looked like it came from a garage sale from the 80s. There were no Olympic barbells or even bench press racks, seriously impacting my workout plans. The room decor felt dated. I noticed other hotels nearby looked more modern.
